What we protect

One firm, every layer of your security.

From a single officer at a front desk to a full patrol programme across multiple sites, every deployment is built around your property, your hours and your risk — not a template.

Armed & Unarmed Security Officers

Licensed officers posted on site, in uniform, trained to Florida Class D and Class G standards. Access control, deterrence and a written log of everything that happens on your property.

Mobile Patrol

Marked patrol vehicles running scheduled and randomised checks. Visibility is a powerful crime deterrent, and a clearly marked vehicle in your lot at unpredictable hours is the cheapest one you can buy.

Learn more

Executive & Dignitary Protection

Discreet close protection for executives, public figures and private clients. Advance work, route planning, secure transport and residence coverage.

Transportation Security

Officers for transit points, logistics yards, driver escorts and high-value movements, including funeral and convoy escorts.

Learn more

Background Screening

Pre-employment and tenant screening so you know who is already inside your perimeter, not just who is outside it.

Emergency Operations & Consulting

Risk assessments, post orders, emergency response planning and security programme reviews for organisations that need a second set of professional eyes.

The standard

Ten things that happen on every shift.

A guard who stands still is a statue. Our officers work to a written post order and file a log you can read the next morning — so you know exactly what was checked, when, and by whom.

  • Routine and emergency response by radio or mobile patrol
  • Entrance control and prevention of unauthorised access
  • Ground patrol in a clearly marked security vehicle
  • Building and equipment exterior inspections
  • Daily log reports of all security observations
  • Trespasser and loitering monitoring
  • Forced entry and vandalism prevention
  • Door and window lock verification on every round
  • Fire hazard and obstruction checks
  • Detection and documentation of misconduct on your property

Who you are hiring

A family firm, run by a career police chief.

United Protective Security Services has been protecting Central Florida businesses, communities and events since 2011. It is family-owned and family-run, which is why the person who sets the standard is also the person who answers the phone.

Operations are led by Morris West, a retired Chief of Police and graduate of the FBI National Academy, who personally trains and certifies the officers who work your site. Administration is led by Leah West, who holds degrees from Warner Southern University and Harvard Business School. Every officer is First Aid and CPR certified and equipped before they ever step onto your property.

We are licensed under Florida Statute Chapter 493, carry a $1,000,000 general liability policy, and hold an A+ rating with the Better Business Bureau.

In their words

Five stars, from the people we trained.

Every review below is from a graduate of our Class D programme — the same standard we hold our own officers to.

Got my class D through Mr West. At first I was not looking forward to a week long class. But Mr West made it fun and engaging that by the time it was over I hated leaving. I would recommend Mr West to anyone.

Mr West was my instructor for my class D license. Not only did he make the class so interesting, I learned so much from him from his personal experiences. I highly recommend United Protective Services for any of your needs.
